What do you guys reckon to keeping three or four small RB's in a well filtered 48"x15"x12" tank...that comes out to approximately 30 UK gallons, 36 US gallons or 136 litres.
How long would they be comfortable in a tank that size ?

By small do you mean 0.5" or 1" or so? Technically, they could live there forever, but they'd be really cramped and prone to attacking one another.

I'd say that three can live there for about a year or so, at a maximum before things start to get really restless.
