i have 2 brandtis in a 55 gal aquarium,cant really find much info about these fish,like tank set up only what they look like and where they come from ,but any ways should i use a power head in the tank,what little info i did find said,they stay in still waters of a river,so what do u think,also any body know where i can get more info,ive already been all threw this site ,dosent say much

not too familiar with brantiis but i added a powerhead to my divided tank so that the fish can actually swim beause the tank isnt as long as it used to be.. sortal ike a tredmill effect

i have 2 in my tank,a aquaclear power filtermade for 40-70gal,and a aquatech 30-60 gallons, and power head does 400 gal per hour

As much as the information around says they like "still water" I have a powerhead in with my Brantii and he does like swimming in the current. Its a Maxi Jet 1200 (295gph) in a 65gal tank (36L x 18W x 24H) . When I had him in the divided 90gal tank he would sit and "hover" in the current that was created by the spraybar from the filter.
