Big fat worms from bait shop. I am not sure if they are earthworms or night crawlers, or if those 2 are the same. I guess just rinse the dirt off them and throw them in..Just wondering about any risks besides having loose worms in the house

if theyre fat then the chances are that they're nightcrawlers. there shouldn't be any problem.

I'd rip the head and tails of the worm off, that way if the fish miss one, the worm won't dig into the substrate. Happened to me when I first fed them earthworms.

The only chance that you will encounter problems is if you found the worm in dirt that could possibly have chemicals in it.

If you got the worms from a clean source however, like the bait shop, you should be just fine.

Anyone know if it's ok to feed them sandworms and bloodworms like the kind you get from saltwater bait shops in the northeast?
