I'vs been keeping meal worms in a jar and decided to put some Hikari color enhancing pellets in the jar to see if they would eat the pellets, since my piranha doesn't seem to be too interested in the pellets. This morning i cheecked the jar and most of the pellets are gone and the worms look a little fatter. the question is do you think my piranha will get most of the nutrition from the pellets when it eats the worms.

Yea I keep the diet mixed up mostly with just krill, whitefish, and worms.
But do you think the nutrition and color enhacing formula will be still in the worm if i feed them to my piranhas. Im thinking yea but i just dont know.

Yes, it will. The process of feeding your feeders nutritous foods before using them as food is called "gut loading".

When I kept frogs, I always held their crickets for a day or two to feed on romaine lettuce and carrots before I fed them to the frogs.
