I just bought two 6" RBP's. They were eating comets before I did. I haven't tried comets yet, but why wont they eat the clown loaches in their tank?

Anyways, you just recently got these fishes. Let them get used to their new surrounding for awhile. Trust me, in no time you'll ONLY have your RBs running the tank.

LOL, yeah I often induldge in comets. That's what I thought. How long should I expect to wait?

when you first buy them, some people have waited all most a full week before they ate any thing, for the most part it is 3-4 days, ive hear 5-6 give it time, and please dont force food one them, then it will take more time, bottom line they will eat when they are hungry.

Wait a couple of days then try to feed them.

they'll eat when they are ready, don't worry. probably in a few days up to about a week. sometimes it takes longer though. they can go a long time without eating.

When I got my RBPs they were eating as soon as I put them in the tank. I have a feeling most of these fish are not feed real well at the LFS. It really depends on the fish.

I remember mine wouldn't eat for first week.
