Fed my Ps about 3 days ago and last night did my water change. Woke to find MEAT chunks laying all over the bottom. I kinda think they pooped them out whole actually.

I fed them whole pheasant legs. I had tons of them so I just let them eat the meat off the bones.

Why after the water change did this happen and what causes it?

My P's used to do this with catfish, but stopped after a while. My guess is a few things could be the reasons; overeating, not used to the type of food being fed to them, or bad cooking

Thats my 2c, I'm not sure if any of these are true though...

They didn't poop them them out, they puked.
My p does it sometimes after I fed him chickenmeat. I dunno why

Sometimes when you, after feeding, clean your tank they can be a little stressy.
This can be a raison why they puke out the food.
It`s not uncommen.

Hmmm, I have had this happen but only when I fed Beffheart from the market. They kept puking it back out anywhere between a 1-24 hours after they ate it, so I stopped feeding it.

I used to feed my P's chicken gizzards but they kept thowing them up the next morning. No more gizzards for them.
