Hey I don't know if barracuda disease belongs in this forum but whatever move me if needed.

Alright my payara has got white on his eyes. One eye completely and the other just a little. It could be from the goldfish I have been feeding it but who knows. What are some of the possible diseases for this white eye? And how should I cure this? My brother told me to add salt and raise the temperature a tad, what else can I do. Also I posted my albino bichir had lost an eye. I think it is also white. Well the bichir just looks like his eye is closed. Please help me.

Well you could add Melafix. It compliments salt very well.

Hey Kevsawce, what's your aquarium's water parameters? Is there a spike in ammonia present? Ammonia burn can cause the eyes to look cloudy, and water changes will help if this is the cause. Also, what size tank and how long has it been established.?
