i just got an amazon sword. i wasnt sure if there was any specail ways to plant but i just put it in there under my gravel. after about 4 days it started wilting. curling up, and turning brown. i keep my light on usally 11 hours.

Yep mine do the same thing. I just take out the leaves that are dead.

I remove the pots. Amazons need alot of light 2 watts per gallon. And a little plant flourish helps.

I never had succes with swords either: they died pretty quickly, due to lack of light and the constant chewing by my reds. So I switched to java fren and anubias, and they are doing great.
