from what i understand the japanese had some of the worst ways to torture someone.
They'd make a man erect, slide a glass tube down the urethra, and smash it. when the man become flacid again, the glass shards would imbed themselves in the flesh. not only would that hurt like hell, but think, what would it feel like taking a leak?

agreed in WWII the japanese would tie american and allied forces POW in Bamboo fields and leave them out there and bamboo grows so fast and so straight that it grows right through their body. but it takes a long while for it to actually go through and kill you i mean bamboo grows fast but not that fast. .
the japs are def someone i would not wanna be captured by.

The Judas Cradle:
In running with the other creepily named devices, this was actually much less pleasant than you may believe. The Judas Cradle was a device with death or grievous injury in mind. Chains and a collar above a bladed pyramid would suspend the victim. The executioner had control of the chains and the weight with which the victim would fall on the pyramid by way of a system of pulleys. The victim could be bounced or pressed onto the pyramid as the executioner desired. Popular angles of attack were the groin, behind and upper spine.
