That would be a tough one I like them both. I would have to say caribas because its more than one fish. Plus they are more active than 1 rhom. But unless you decide to get a large rhom. Large rhoms are very cool, they got personality. Just flip a coin.

I currently have 12in rhom morphtype in a 75g and I have a 10in rb in 220g. I also had 13 caribas in the 220 before I sold them. Now I'm waiting for fishpost to get some caribe in. I regret selling my cariba.

I'd go for a shoal of cariba (or other pygo's): I prefer the look of a shoal of fish, instead of a loner fish, no matter how big or evil.

I think you would impress more people that come over with a large sized rhom, i mean the average joe is probably never gonna see such an evil looking fish as a rhom in there life. Good luck

I have to say Caribe. Throw in a mouse or a large koi and get it on tape. I like the look of a shoal rather than a single fish.

But a Large Rhom would also be cool. It has them red eyes and all. They just look really evil.

Put 3 Caribe in the 75g and buy a 55 for a Rhom.

some caribe would be sweet. I have 3 5" in a 50 which are going in a 135 with my 3 rbp and hopefully a piraya.

These of course would need a larger tank than 75 though. If you have no intention of upgrading the tank, then I would go for the Rhom. I also have a rhom but he's a juve. at only 2".

Personally I would like a shoal of a solitary fish. unless you already have plenty of shoaling tanks, then i would get a solitary tank up and running.

Haha. I love piranhas! I am going to get cariba's for my 75. I'm going to pick it up next week and start cycling. In a few months I'm going to get a 55 for a rhom. I was thinking about getting 4 4 inch cariba's for my 75, what do y'all think? Too much, enough? I think its about good. Let me know. :laugh:

Who you gettin the caribe from?

Well, its going to be at least a month till my tank cycles, but when I order it will probably be from Ronald Neilson at Fishpost.com. He e-mailed me and said, "I get sizes around 4", some plus some, minus. I am trying very hard to get the fish in NOW, but until they allow the exchange of foreign currency in Venezuela, I cannot get them. Since they have just fired a bunch of people and are seeming to get things in control, I hope soon."

Hopefully he'll have them by then. Does Pedro ever get them? You're looking for them too MPower? What size tank do you have and how many are you going to get?

I was waiting for fishpost as well. I thought you getting them from somewhere else. I have 220g and I'll be getting 15 caribe and I'll sell the smaller ones once majority of them reach 7-8in. I emailed pedro and he said he don't have any and none are coming in.

If Im not mistaken, he's only posted that he had some caribe once. Im pretty sure they flew out the door, but not sure why he dont have them more often. Real cool guy to work with.:cool:
