i got a question about wet & dry filter, if that thing runs trew the bottem of the tank, is it possible to use sand? im realy not a fan of gravels or what not, im real curious on how the wet&dry works as well, prices, installment, how it works,etc.. if anyone cares to take the time off and fill me in these details i would greatly appreciate it, thanx alot

The wet dry is usually fed from an overflow hole drilled high up the tank. So as water from your sump is pumped into the tank more water overflows down into the sump. The return pipe being the opposite side as the drilled hole.

If you have a hole at the bottom it is possible to have a non flexible pipe going up from the hole to the water surface, again acting as an overflow.
