I will be ordering a Gold Spilo from Pedro on Wednesday. :smile: What size should I get? Oh yea and i have an Emperor 400 on my 30 gallon that he will be in. Will this suck a 1" up into it?

I'd get the mid sized ones.

I would say largest. Im an imaptient mofo. If I did get the small one, I'd get irritated and sell it to get a bigger one. But thats just me...

I prefer getting them as small as possible, to watch them grow. I mean, baby p's are really sweet, and it's even better to watch them slowly transform into voracious killers

But all I can find is reds, and they grow pretty fast, fast enough for an impatient bastard like me

They grow pretty fast though. I got mine at 1.25 inches on January 15th, now they are just about 3-4 inches. They grow faster then most believe.

i like to spend the time to watch my p's grow, that is a lot different than everyone elses opinion.... i think that they are more aggressive and better to watch when they are babies.... they eat more, or at least they let you watch them.....
