what size tank for 5 reds, 1 ternetzi. 1 common wolffish, 1 sailfin pleco, and 3 bucktooth tetras for life?
5 - P. nattereri - 100 gallons or more.what size tank for 5 reds, 1 ternetzi. 1 common wolffish, 1 sailfin pleco, and 3 bucktooth tetras for life?
You must never seen how large some of these species grow. And this fellow didn't specify what species.100 gallons for a pleco? you gotta be kidding!
Do you want your fish comfortable in life? or just a fish in a bowl? If so, put it in a 10 gallon tank.they max out at 24 inches, no 24 inch pleco needs 100 gallons of water
Question: Are you planning on putting these fish all together? If yes, then you are inviting problems not just limited by size and if so, unlikely they will be fairly happy which I'm not sure exactly what that means to you.okay would a 150 be ok? I know its not as big as hastastus would like it to be, but would be they be able to live fairly happily in it?
And for the record, I did not take it that way. I write things (see Lounge discussion by me on this topic) very straight forward. I was not offended in anyway by what FeederFish33 wrote.FeederFish33:i wasnt getting testy
Trying to save him some money. And he didn't say anything in the original post if this tank was for individuals or community. Anyway, interesting topic.hastatus- 100 gallons? for a pleco? it will probably be eaten by the piranhas anyway.
Enough said?it will probably be eaten by the piranhas anyway.
He has a Rhom pleco. they need 100 gallons each.thePACK said:what kind of pleaco do you have frank...![]()
