i started with 2 piranha's.. red bellys. then i bought 2 more,

the two new ones, got killed, now the original 2 are fighting like crazy and i
am scared one of them will get hurt or die, is there anything i can do to stop the aggression? is there a fish i could buy they could take there aggression out on?

how big are the old one????...and how big were the new ones??...how big is your tank???...when adding new fish...you should feed the old one fish...because itz their home already and they have to share it...they are territorial...maybe rearrange the decorations (if any)...that may help....

When did you think uncomfy was going to take place ?

I would have bought a New tank just with those 2 Fish.....At least a 60 gallon and added a buddy ...

Mr. Harley is all over this but a 10 gallon tank is no place for a single Piranha let alone a small group. You need to go out and buy yourself a 55+gallon tank for this hobby.

The first thing you need to do if they are being overly aggressive is get a new tank. If you don't, you'll end up with one red belly, and no possibility of ever adding a tank mate.
