i've been reading that piranhas like powerheads as they make them more active and such. i've been wanting to get one and i was wondering if piranhas prefer strong currents or just some slow moving water?

depends on tank size, when choosing a powerhead, piranhas like strong current but they also like "rest" areas too

Whats your tank size and how big are your Ps? Powerheads are great for water current, but also for excercise, water/oxygen mixture and as used as a pre-filter. But as stated, the size of tank and Ps determine how much and how powerfull you'll need.
