I see many setups using powerheads by Marineland by which all means are top notch, but another economical alternative I suggest is trying JBJ pumps...I have 2 JBJ sp2500's on each end of my 140 gal tank and all is swell

I was told by a respected LFS that JBJ's are more powerful and to this day I've always seen them sold cheaper than any other brand.
