Before i go pressurised i used to make on a 4 littre bottle with up to six cups of sugar and 1,3 teaspoon of yeast.Sometimes i added some baking soda as a 'stabilizer'.
First and the most important thing is to dissolve COMPLETELY the sugar into the water and this is done easily if you add warm water.Then it is nessecary to let the mixure cold and THEN add the yeast and baking soda.
This mixure lasted up to 1,5 months and it5 was made for up to 50g tanks....
