well, I was in the city this weekend, so i thought we'd stop by Shark Aquarium to pick up 3 red bellies. It's a pretty nice place. Easy to find. New Jersey still sucks ma ballz though. Worst state ever.
well, right now I got 4 oscars and a green severum in a 55 gal, and the 3 2 1/2 " RBP in a 20 gal. I'm getting a 120 gal tank real soon, so the oscars are movin in there, and the piranhas are movin into the 55 gal. This'll happen within a month or two.
i don't know that much about all the different types of piranhas, but i assume it was a Rhom that i saw at the Shark Aquarium. It was enormous, at least like 12". Def looked like it could eat my whole hand in 2 or 3 bites.
I wish I lived near s.a. I want to add a tern. to my red belly piranha tank, but its not quite worth having just one shipped. I also wouldn't mind having an elongautas. maybe next year ill order some more fish.
I've ordered a couple fish from george in the past, great guy. And im glad i don't live anywhere near that place cause i would definately go broke fast.
I live about 40 mins away from S.a. If you are planning to go there, be sure to call first and ask specifically for whatever it is youre looking for. Trust me, I learned the hard way... and their online stock list is not current, so call. Other than that it is a great place.
