Yeah they do, they create lots of oxygen and also reduce alot of the bad things. There are so many but since i have put them in to the tank over 6 months ago the ps are soooooooooo much more natural as when i do water changes they hide behind them where as before they didnt have anything so they kept scattering round the tank. Thanks everyone for the comments

Wow, thats one super-heavily planted tank!
Props to that!
Just asking, how much you invested in all them plants?
And what size is that tank? Looks deep.

I started the amazon sword project about 6 months ago.

Basically Added as many as i could, have prob spent about £50 in total.

I would say there is well over 200 leaves but now more like 400 as they have all routed well in to the sand and around the wood.

The size tank is 100 gallon with an Fx5 filter

Attached some more pics and one of my 75 gallon tank which i am now also going to try and get it like my 100gallon tank although there are lots of snails in my 75gal

Just asking.
How hard is it to maintain that 100gallon?
The plants I mean.
Like, how many watts per gallon you using? And what stuff you put into the water to help the plants grow?
I wanna go heavily planted but it scares me that I'll fail miserably.
I already checked up on the planted tank help thread but it just made it look more intimidating...
