I can't take my eyes off the tank. Tick, Tock... Tick, Tock. Is this just a phase or something. I'm even putting off cigarettes to watch. How long have you guys kept piranhas? Does it get old after a while?

I've been kept p's for about 4 years straight but my first p was 7 years ago. I still love my p's it seems like I'm never done with my collection. Always selling and buying, a never ending battle.

Do what I did.. Gave her my Rhom so she can get into it and understand my interests.

I think you just descoverd the reason why you should never put your tank next to your television

Yeah I took my girlfreind to Riverdale Pets to see all the different types of p's and now she is definatly more into it than before. I am thinking of giving her a 4 inch Spilo CF to take care of....

1st time I got feeder fish for my spilo, I drop one in, he doesn't go after it right away, the gf comes in, and wants to go to the bedroom for some fun, I had like a lil battle going on in my head, I wanted to stay and watch flippers first kill, but that wouldn't of went over too well, "Sorry honey, but forget sex, I wanna watch my piranha" :biggrin: anywho, afterwards I come back and find 1/2 a comet floating in the tank, I was

I told my gf by the time the P's got done eating a gold fish, it was still breathing not realizing it's body is missing.

First reaction: Ewwww, that's so nasty.

Second reaction: I wanna see~!!!

Now she just sits infront of my fishtank all day.

Yeah, once you introduce them to it, they'll eventually get interested. Its also good to get her her own Ps. I let my gf borrow my Rhom and havent gotten it back for half a yrs now. Its good to have them understand your hobbit.
