i recently bought one of those thermomters from wal mart that have a green zone between 70 and 80 which is suppose to be good for tropical fish? mine is exactly between 70 and 80 is that good for P's?

would i be fine at 75?

:nod: i run 78-79 in mine... i also found those stickon thermometers suck, and would buy a digital one off ebay for a few bucks....

i was going to buy a digital one at first but then i saw it goes on the outside and the suck on ones go in the inside so i thought i would get a more accurate reading?

the digital ones have a probe that goes in the water, and a display, like this:
