What is the smallest tank size you can keep a redbelly in for life?

I have a chance to buy a 10" red but don't want to put him in with my 3 reds in my 55. All I have left is a 25 right now plus a 15 for feeder's. My p's in the 55 are 5,4". What do you think?

i would not keep a 10" fish in a 25 gal tank

i have a 120 with a 10.5",9",(3)8",and (2)7"
i think it says in my signature
but do that if you have room and the $$ it worth it an the 10"er can stay in there for life with up to 8 or 9 others also its nice heres a pic of mine

You could put the 10 incher in with the others if you move their decorations around but the 55 would seem very cramped and you would want a larger tank instantly. Changing the decor around still does not guarantee anything so its at your own risk...I've never had a problem adding piranha's but who's to say what one p will do to the next.
