What is the difference between a breeder tank and long tank? One normally wider than the other or something?

a breeder tank will be wider and shorter, perefect for large fish that need turning room

I've always thought a breeder tank was specifically set up for a breeding pair of fish, and being the lone residence. Long tank is an unsusally longer tank with different/unusual dementions, used also for breeding for the extra space which it occupies.
