Most of the hobby has slowed to a stand still as well.

Still got my fish, still help with the big reef tank when I can. Other than that I moved across the US for work.
Same ol life i see, i moving permanently to PA so ill be seeing my fish more often !!
Aquascape has small rhombs which tempts me but cant get in contact with them , called them 2 days straight , wrote messages and still no replies ... hard to come by for inch rhoms..

Where do you work now?!
Working for oil companies in Texas... Hotshot driver, and deliver whatever the rigs / shops need.

Have actually taken stuff to PA for natural gas refining.
I drove throughout texas in summer , loved it .. if not that hot and sh*tload of snakes id move there ..
moving done for today , Ps are ok but stressed a bit.. Kinda pissing me off since i was suppose to go trade tanks and get 90 gallon tomorrow but now guy doesnt write back...
Haha, what's up man?

What a trip, I was just kickin' back, smokin' a spleef, watchin' some TV... thought: "wonder what's up on P-Fury"...
How ya been?

I've just been workin' the businesses, have a 40 gallon with a bunch of exodons I got from Pedro a couple years ago.

West Texas is a shithole... but I am just here for work so, can kinda tolerate it. Did some sailing and stuff on the coast, and I get to drive all over the US so its nice to get away every week and travel.

P-man, always good to see ya

You too man...

Where are ya, El Paso?
Not gonna be there for long, eh?
It's easier to tolerate an undesirable location when ya know it's temporary.

I lived in Corpus Christi for a year... loved it.
Corpus is way south though... and tropical/coastal.
Kinda hard to bitch about palm trees and 85° ocean water.

Corpus is where I did 10 days of sailing school, wasnt terrible. Have been all over the state / US and the northwest is still my home.

I am like 80 miles from the SE corner of New Mexico. Nothing but sand, cactus, and pump jacks... Have seen 126deg on my dash, and without vented leather in my truck I would prob have died a few times. Been here just under 2 years, and will prob be here another year and a half.

Get my truck paid off, hire a driver and head back home.
Damn , i wouldnt be able to drive for living ... still got to drive to NY for work daily ..
Man ,dude pissed me off with 90 gall tank. Well gotta look for another one ..
Yeah, it sucks and thats why I am only going to do it for a few years. Have done 160K miles in 2 years

Good luck with the tank hunt.
i will always love this hobby -- been at it for 40 years...so too late to start another hobby LOL

By my calculations i will do 1k miles weekly , plus first day driving from work and my car started to show little problems... never gave me problems for past 4 years ,, now is stealership time hehe

One of my tanks has shallow scratches so ill try to buff em out , plus need 200w heater .. Cant wait to do that since pedro has inch rhombs ,, I so want one !!! For next few months he will have to be happy in 20 gallon untill 75 will be ready...

No matter what happens ill love this hobby , reefs are ok but ill stay with piranhas ... That black rhombs with red eyes on black sand and background ...
I am a piranha fan. Always have been and always will be. Even though I have had like every other fish at one point (a bit of an obvious exaggeration). I have always ran a separate piranha tank. Now I just have 1 tank with my rhom and that is it. Wife would get mad at me if I had another tank running.
Yea wifey complains , since she is more reef fan .. Ill keep 2 tanks , 90 and 75 .. reds and rhom (once i get my hands on one)
Yeah. Rhoms have been hard to find lately but it is probably seasonal. Not that I am very actively looking but still have not seen much around in Canada anyway.

That's really gettin' in and takin' care of business!
And if I'm not mistaken, you're not a spring chicken anymore (like me), workin' through that which was a helluva lot easier 25 years ago!
Damn long day today ... finally got 90 gall , drilled on bottom and scratched lol but i might make it work ..well have to wait , took tank and went to dealership , they kept car untill wed for repair , with tank in trunk lol.
