Hi everyone.

my irritans was not eating like for 4 days now. and i've been checking water every day and its good.

ammonia - 0, nitrite - 0, nitrate - 5 and ph 8.2

i added some salt and raised the temp. in his tank.

it looks like he have a tail rot, but i can not tell for sure.

what have and had you feed him? and what tank size??

he look healthy but yea it a fin rot...lots of water change and salt are good.

also it maybe stress...have you try adding some stress coat to it?

he in 75G tank. i fed him salmon, tulapia and shrimp. a few times feeders, neon/tetra. not golds.

i did not try to add stress coat, but i will do that.

one more thing. how big is the water change should be in this case??
and how ofter??
i do 20-25 gal.

yea try stress coat.....i would do between 25%-50%no more then that....and give him some time.

other then that everything you list above look good..your feeding food, water parameter, tank size, etc...are great!.

i doesn't look like it has fin rot to me its a wild fish mine have this and it never changes

Pretty common in new or recent purchases. Pristine water conditions, salt, and a healthy diet and he'll be fine in a couple weeks. If condition worsens post up.
