i just purchased a new 55 gal and i was wonderin if i should use sand or not?? i saw some pretty awesome sand bottom tanks, but it also sounds like they are hard to maintain...... so i have a few questions..... has anyone successfully used play sand in their tank??? does sand show fecies (piranha sh*t) good, or does it just blend in??? what kind of number does it do on filters??? thanks for the help
