I would be willing to say that a rhom that was 5 inches or smaller would be okay in that tank. any larger and it might seem cramped. Even at 5 inches, it might seem small. Should be okay though for a 4 inch rhom for a year or two at least.

Rhoms are very slow growers...maybe you can keep him in there for 3-4 years or so before upgrade...!

Im with this answer.. your Rhom will take a couple yrs to grow and need upgrading for a new tank. It'll do for now.. I had an 8" Rhom in a 30 gal for a yr till I sold it.
