How do you go about resealing a 125 gallon that has 1 inch panes of glass. I have no clue why the glass is so thick compared to the 125 gallon tanks at the lfs. The front pane pulled away from the side pane, causing 3/4 of the water in the tank to flood my basement. Do I have to remove the whole front pane and reseal or can I get away with resealing just that side. Also how hard is it to reseal the whole thing. I don't want this to leak. I set it up after I bought it used, and 2 weeks later I came home to the basement flooded.

Any suggestions on working with the weight of the 1 inch pane of glass?

did u lose and fish?

and that is some thick ass glass for a 125.

i would remove the pane of glass, pull off all the old silicone (or maybe use a razor blade) and then reseal it that way. let it dry for 48 hrs and then fill 'er back up and watch for leaks.
