i havn't even completely finshed building my 50 gallon reef tank and i am already doing an upgrade i will be picking up a 135 gallon tank and will be setting up a large closed loop for circulation a refugium and for a skimmer i will probably run a pm bullet 1 i am thinking i will get a 1600 to 1800 gph for the closed llop to provide at least 12x per hr turn over

i swear i am a sucker for punishment

I've wanted to do a salt tank and am not so much worried about the cost of equipment as I DIY as much as possible, but just the cost of livestock is atrocious. I think my most expensive fish was one of my plecos at 7 bucks

me too.. i just started on my 35L reef tank and i already want to upgrade but i gotta wait on that till i decided to buy a new house coz i dont have anymore room here.
