i purchased a redtail shark for my 10gal only to find he should be in a 50gal.

my question is, would a pair of redtails get along in a 50? they will be coexisting with a couple of Salvinis.

if not a redtail, is there another bottom dweller suitable for this situation?

I've seen some variability here, they are aggressive fish but not always. Rearrange the tank before introduction.

yeah, sounds like the redtail will have no shark friends

he's friendly though, he swims with the zebra danios. they pick on each other more than he picks on them.

i'm gonna slip him a little lettuce today, i want him to stay slick black.
