k i got some questions about crayfish

can they liveoutta water for short peroids of time like crabs?

does the water have to be very good ph and ammonia wise,

can they live with certain crabs?

what tempature should the water be at?

are shrimp pellets good food?

thanks for the help

Crays are very hardy and can live in a wide range of temp, from 50-85F. They don't need good water to survive and can live without water for a couple of days. They'll eat anything including shrimp pellets.

74 is ideal, above this they tend to mould more, which does reduce their lifespan.

water does need to be good like with all crustaceans, and should ideally be hard/alkaline as this helps them keep a hard body/shell
