Could you keep caribas, tarnetzi's, super reds, and reds in the same tank? I have two reds, and I was wondering if you could keep any combination of these fish in a tank and them co-exist peacefully since they are all in the pygocentrus family??

Yes, you can keep all of those pygos in the same tank. Be careful with the Cariba and Terns, they tend to be more territorial than the reds.

Yes, all Pygo piranhas can be mixed, but keep in mind that piraya get very large and can be really cannabalistic, so that may cause problems. Sometimes cariba will pick on reds too since they are more aggressive and territorial.

Yeah, I have 3 terns, 2 cariba, and 2 wild reds in my 100 gal. They are great together. just make sure not to overstock, and keep plenty of hiding spots for if they do start to show aggression.
