This may sound stupid but my mom is worried about all the power i might be using.I was just wandering how much you guys think it costs to run 2 emperor 280.1 emperor 400.1 fluval 404 and 3 200 watt heaters thanks any comments appreciated.

lololol!!!!! It says on the box how many watts it uses. But for a quick comparison, my Aquaclear 500 uses 5 watts an hour...those emps are probably the same.

A lightbulb uses about 60 watts an hour. The heaters use very little also, not sure on the numbers, but heaters are not running 24/7.

my mom is like that too but my tanks dont hurt the elec bill that much

so she dont care.
