Well, that did'nt go over too well in the tank, tried 2 CAEs and both were food overnight. I even fed my P more than usual to try to fill him up, but they were gone by morning. I have 1 pleco in there that seems to be very smart and has lasted almost 3 months, but it only stays in the back. Would changing the decor around help with introducing new fish like a few CAEs?
i could, do you have plenty of little hiding crevases for them, i added about six mugs

of different sizes to the tank and i have about a quarter of my tank divided right now for other fish

that one cae can swim through with no problems, i wonder why hes the only one left

but they did what i wanted them to do, clean all the algae, and did a really good job too

so now i dont mind if they turn to rana snacks.

just cant put anything with ranas, like everyone says, they will end up food
