Anyways i was wondering. what kinda times do u guys have your power heads on. i hear some do all day some do a hour on hour off hour on. others said about 4 hours on in the day then again later that night. Well i dont know i am just wondering what u guys do. i was thinking of just doing all day so i wouldnt have to worry about it but i dont wanna over do it yet they also come from the river so i am sure they ar in it all day. do u think leaving it on all day would be bad.just let us know what u guys think and explain if u would like

There was another thread that just went over this, but I can't remember where it is. I personally leave mine on all day, they don't seem to mind. But how everyone takes care of thier Ps is unique. Some people swear that one way is the best way, but others may have tried that same thing and came up with dead piranha. I say try it out all day but if your Ps act overly aggressive or something else undesirable then try shutting it off. Or if it's too noisy shut it off.

I have to save electricity, plus my RBs can care less with or without them. But I know at time they should require waterflow so I have my powerhead on a timer with my lights. Off in the morning and afternoon.. on in the evenings and night.
