Are these ok ? I bought them, there called Plantabbs, says safe for all fish. The only thing it says is the PH reaction in water is mildly acidic, if your water is naturally acidic, a neutralizer should be used.

Plant tablets are used to fertilize the substrate. They are pressed directly into the substrate near the plant roots. Many plants are heavy root feeders (Echinodorus, Hygdophila, Nymphaea, Cryptocoryne, Vallisneria...) and tabs are useful because the water column is not influenced.

These say just drop in the tank, nothing about planting directly into the substrate.
