Im picturing a scenario in the wild. When lakes in the Amazon dry up, I've heard Ps usually kill each other because lack of space in the water. I would compare that in a sense, with your 14 Ps in a container. They're already cramp, and for an object to disturb the water in such a small space.. I would think that they would go wild!! Might take nips on your kitty..

I think their is a possibility. But not in the sense that they would try to eat your cat, but more like just nervously snapping away. I know when I put my algae scraper in the tank my reds take cover and bolt across the other side of the tank. I have however, noticed them snap their mouths as they run for cover.

i think that they would have freaked out but somthing that big in the small space they had they would had bit it a few times to protect themselfs
