Piranha Hut has been around for quite a few years. Remember first seeing it in 1996 or 97. Little about it has changed.

Piranha Hut is often cited by a few educational facilities for pirana information. Which I found sad, even the book that was published by Elaine Landau that is used by schools, I believe cites piranha.org and Piranha Hut as its sources. BTW that book used many OPEFE pirana images taken by Ben Klaffke but made no mention of OPEFE participation. My photo is in there as well without ID.

Wow....You had always told me this type of misinformation was prevelant on the internet hastatus....but damn, this is the first time I have seen it first hand...is this anything like the old piranha.org?

I believe Piranha.org was patterned after Piranha Hut and if I remember history correctly, Piranha Hut predates even opefe. Piranha.org came into being about a year or two after I went full internet in 1995. If you own the Schulte Piranhas in the Aquarium book that was a word for word (and photo) rip off of Schulte's book.

The photos used by Piranha Hut are mostly off the old Myer's Piranha Book.
