Why only once a month? I have 3 4" redbellies and if i gave them 2 a day i know they'll not even hit the bottom, they love em!! Are they bad for piranhas as a stable diet? I feed them bloodworm, flakes, etc. Cheers

piranhas primarily eat fish as their everyday diet in the wild. it's ok if you give them this as a treat once in a while. it sounds like you have a pretty good diet for them but their diet has to be 90% fish to be healthy.

piranhas dont usually eat mammals in the wild, fish is whats best for them, but as a treat a little red meat wont help. plus, feeding them pinkies every day is so much more expensive then picking up some fish fillet

yea give it to them as a treat.. mine luved pinkies when i fed them it.

Feed them as a treat. That is fine. But it should not be a part of there staple diet. Stick to fish products for that
