i just bought a huge pad, cut them to size and added them to my filtration, anyone use these? how do you like them?

No need for them because water changes alone are sufficient.

I'm using SeaChem Neutral Regulator to help buffer and maintain the pH in my water (It's incredibly soft) and was thinking about using these also because the SeaChem add's a lot of phosphates to the water.

since i've shortened the amount of time i keep my tanks light on and added these pads, i no longer have a problem with brown algae, im wondering how much of an effect theses pads have had.

is that just the blue pad??
if so im using it...and it aint working...or maybe it is, and all hell has broken loose.
