sometimes it works, and sometimes it does not
there have been people who have managed this before with no probs
although I have seen it gone bad before at the LFS.
chances are better though if adding them while smaller
...you must remember that these pacus will get 1 meter plus

You can add most fishes such as Pacus, Oscars, Cichlids, Exodons, some Cat Fishes to a Piranha tank. The rule I go with is to always introduce them to an early stage when juveniles, mostly having the other fish a little bigger than the Ps. Its possible (seen, heard and have done it before), but the one thing you have to remember.. the bigger the fishes get, the bigger appetite.

i had a red pacu with a few reds ,i would advise to get them sml and the same size i once added 2 @ 1'' reds with a 4'' pacu and it hunted the reds down and eat them so had to divide the tank for @ 3 months
