Went to the zoo today, I'll be uploading my pictures and starting a thread in non-piranha pictures for anyone interested (I recommend it, I've got some really good shots I think are worth checking out) but had only this solitary piranha shot. I think how well it turned out makes it worthwhile sharing it by itself though.

Feedback is appreciated

I left it dark because that's how the tank was, dark and murky. Tried to capture the setting because it was very dark and all the decor matched the piranha giving it a brownish and almost murky look. If you look at my settings (and know photography) and look how dark it turned out, you can get an idea of how dark the tank was

Nice, but agree a very slight adjustment to brightness would be awesome. Great shot and clarity though!

Naw, wont look too good if its brighten. Already tried it, IMO , it looks better like this.

Since it was underexposed, when you try to brighten it, it becomes noisy.

Once again, Thanks for the Desktop.jpg shot.

Thanks everyone, much obliged.

Gordeez, I've gotta disagree with your assessment that it's dark because it's underexposed. It's dark because the fish is a dark brown color, on black(ish) background with a dark brown rock in the foreground. You can't increase the brightness well because the tank in real life is not bright. If you look at the highlights like the teeth and the top of the eyelid you can tell it's only underexposed by maybe half a stop, the reason it looks so dark is because it's actually a dark scene. Not that I'm arguing (people seem to always think that) or anything, I did ask for feedback afterall and appreciate your opinion as a pretty good photographer. It's just that I don't agree with your assessment and felt I should bring it up in a mature and civil manner, you stupid f*cking asshole, shut the f*ck up about the exposure level you c*ck

Kidding of course (I hate having to say that )
