Anyone else ever notice this, its like all the sudden my natts like let out a royal rumble on each other. A few started nipping each other then all the sudden every p was for itself and they all went into a circle almost and just started battling, i watched it for about 2 mins then i went upto the tank and broke it up. I got a cheapass heater on the tank and noticed the temp was upto 82 degrees,(usually keep it around 78) so that might of been it. Out of the eight, four of them had decent sized fin nips. Then after that they were fine..... just thought it was strange.

ack, it was like an all out brawl like each one was a feeder to another one.... i was like freaking out

In my experience they do attack each other, but usually this will only result in a few ripped fins, which can fix quite easily.
however you could reduce the amount of aggression by upgrading to a bigger tank, re-arranging the tank, and ensuring they are not hungry.

remember each p needs 20 gallons of water per fish that could be one reson or also being under fed cuz p's are cannibles they will eat each other if not fed enough i went on vacation last month and when i got back my gold spilos had attacked the smallest one and took a huge chunk right out of his back it still hasent healed yet

Nips are normal, until they get used to each other. Then it will slow down. How long have they been together in the tank? What size?
