Thought i'd share some pics of my BMW 1100 fitted with nitrous.
it certainly gives the sports bikes a run from the lights, and they just dont expect a BMW to out accelerate them
My mates R1 and blackbird are quicker top end, but they cant keep up with me on acceleration, and they cant use their bikes down the quarry

Great to see such a mod on a bmw but how you stop this thing with the 'telelever' front suspension system? What else did you change?Brakes,Cranksaft,Connecting rod.....???

p.s. Can i repost your pics to the greek moto-forum?I am sure the other friends there will appriciate nitrous a lot....

p.s2.European bikes RULE!!!!!

p.s3.HUSQVARNA is the best!!!!!!!!!!

Husky, the bike stops incredibly well as its got ABS.
I've changed quite a few things on it

GPS sat nav
Lazer carbon race can with engine chip
K&N filter
cut down air intakes
uprated clutch
carbon twin headlight
carbon screen
touratech hand guards
touratech seat
lots of other bits and pieces

I use the bike every day and tour Germany regularly. Love the Nurburgring race circuit, especially when blowing sports bikes away.
2000 miles in 3 days, i'd like to see someone cover that distance on a sports bike and still be able to walk
feel free to post the pics mate, can you send me the link when you do please

View attachment 43290 Are you bloody sure?? Nitreous...on a BM ?

When I had my street rod that had nitreous, and a blower, but that had four bloody wheels!!!

This is more my day's motorcycles..I had the bottom four of these.
Triumph Thunderbird 650
Ariel Arrow Sport 250
Ducati Monza 250SS
Royal Enfield 250 Continental GT
The top one is the bastard that put me in hospital for a long long time..Vincent HRD 1000 Black Shadow

Seriously nice bike mate. I guess we are talking sh*t off a shovel job, then ?

Nice bike, but styling

I love BMW cars, but the styling of the bikes is ugly. I know BMW is revealing their "Busa" killer, but for the money spent I'd go with a Japanese Sport Bike anyday. If I wanted to spend more money, which I could, I'd go with an Augusta F4.

I've had my fair share of jap sports bikes, but i'm not a weekend warior fair weather biker. I'd like to see you do 2000 miles in 3 days on a sports bike, or 75000 miles in 18 months, and still be able to walk

As far as styling, i bought it for function, not fashion.

This pic is of the same model BMW as mine, only fightered. Its what mine will end up looking like i hope.

WoW, Rich you've had some seriously classic rides.
I used to have a Triumph Tiger100ss chop. sounded ace but the oil on the living room carpet was a pain.
My last few rides have been a seriously trick Kawasaki z650 with 810 big bore, deep braced arm etc, a Suzuki katana 1000 race bike with dymags flat side carbs etc, and i've got a x-sport 110 mini crosser with some trick bits. the x-sport is seriously fun to ride.

here's me on my x-sport

Nice Bike

Yea the euro bikes are nice also the japanese bikes are hot too.
I have The 91 TZR250 3XV from Japan.
is the mini A Honda 50 Right?

Thanks nismo, must admit we do look daft on the mini bikes, but it's worth it for the fun that can be had on them.

Bubba, its a 110 cc x-sport. 4 speed manual box rather than automatic. electric start and good for 80mph bog standard, just change the gearing. there's me and about six mates got them. use them down the quary and put scooter slicks on for mini supermoto racing

Trouble is Pete, they weren't classic bikes when I had them !!
I always wanted a drag bike...something like a double headed Honda 4 top fueler. Trouble is, in them days when I had the money I was into street rods. Had four...finally saw the light and now I drive a Euro box...this one does 40+ mpg...the rods barely did 10mpg !!

Eh, did you see Frankie is riding a 'blade this coming season for the ex.sidecar world champs team? Team Klaffi I think it was called.
