Just got a sanchezi and he’s hanging out in a 40B but I’m moving him to a 55g show tank in my living room. I’m worried that the bio load will be too low and looking for any suggestions to get a strong enough cycle that it won’t crash. I plan on having him in a heavily planted aquas cape with a all-in-one system. Also, how do you sex a sanch?

Get the 55 up and running and take water from the old tank and the filters out and let it run for a few weeks. If you can grab some plants and gravel/sand as well all the better.

I like to throw some feeders in when I set it up to help out.
