I decided it was time to get a live plant for my tank so i went down to the LFS and this thing caught my eye. I dunno what it is but it sure is pretty. So...what do i need to keep it and my reds happy?

sorry to say but your plant is a Dracaena Sanderiana which is a beautifull but NOT 'aquarium' plant.It is better for terrariums since it's lifespan underwater is very limited....

I'd say a little over 1 month tops. I hate when store sell the immersed form of plants (unfortunately that plant can't be submersed). Your beautiful plant will soon be a pile of sludge
