i set up my wet/dry filter on my 90g tank on July 11th. i have the overhang on it now as well and the water is crystal clear.

i dont want to remove the overhang filter prematurely and take out too many of the nitrites.

so the wet/dry and the overhang filter have been on it and i was wondering if it would be okay for me to remove the overhang filter now?

If its not broke . . . dont fix it.

If my water was crystal clear with perfect parameters, I wouldnt change a thing. are you planning on using that HOB on another tank or will it just be stored away??

well the wet/dry is new and it will be more than enough filtration for my 90g tank. i plan on taking the hangon filter off, but i just want to make sure that it will be okay to do.

and i will probably put it on my 20g tank just because the filter that is on that now is not the greatest.
