how long have you had them, that's very interesting. i have never heard of that, they must be very hungry.
New interactions with my reds
For the past 3 days my ever so skittish, hiding all the time reds are swimming up to the glass and tryin to byte my finger. They even follow it around and keep tryin to bite! They lose interest soon but its cool to watch.I thought only serras did that. Does any one else experience sh*t like this with their reds?

all depends on the fish, i seen videos here of a red doin the same
IVE SEEN MY REDS DO SOMETING LIKE THAT BUT THEY DONT TRY TO BITE ME BUT THEY DO FOLLOW MY FINGER AROUND BUT IT AINT LONG BEFORE THEY LOSE INTEREST

Pyropygo.........Ive had them since quarter-size (purchased in june). I dont really think it has to do with hunger..........They are fed evryday. What surprises me the most is that they are always so skittish, hiding in the bushy plants anytime someone enters my room. I hope they keep doin it!
maybe they are used to you feeding them, so when they see the same person, they may expect some food or something.
