Mike moved all my movies to the Unleash to fury forum for safe keeping, everybody let me know what you thought of them there in their specific threads, I was hoping the Wimple videos would give you all a better idea of what they are like since most of you havent seen them before, and other videos show various behaviors of the fish, lets talk about them, go check em out

I've got easy access right now to wimples but never tried them out because not much is known about them, and until recently most piranha forums I've seen would totally diss wimple owners because wimples aren't the bloodthirsty killas that the true piranhas are, which means that people who did know what they were talking about weren't talking.

Hopefully with people warming up to wimples in public again, good solid husbandry info will come out.

The LFS has several nice sized wimples in stock right now. My new fish room is not ready yet so all I could do for now is look.

If I do recall, I remember Frank saying something about how they viciously attack their prey in a pack and litterly pick all the scales off! Sounds Vicious to me!

I only saw them do it once, it appears as if they broad side the feeder, and scrape the sides with their bottom jaw, the scales fly off and they back up and suck them out of the water, happens so fast, and it doesnt even make the feeders bleed until they eat the guts and stuff
