My new avatar is inspired by the movie Pi by Darren Aronofsky. If you havnt seen it, I recommend going and seeing it right away....It is a crazy schyzophrenic thriller that won a few of the independant film festival awards.

The movie is about a brilliant mathematician that is attempting to find patterns in everyday life, yet more specifically, the stock market....because people can predict patterns, if he can find it, he will be able to predict the movement of the stocks. The thing is, the stock market is a 'living' thing so in his quest he secretly uncovers the underlying pattern to all of life, thus the true face of god. Oh yeah, and in the meantime, he goes insane. Whack indeed. Killer ending.

Pi is an awesome movie, but not quite as good as Requiem for a Dream (one of the best flicks ever!!!)

I've seen it twice, both times during a stoner video night with some friends... Makes you think about stuff twice, and then light one up again...

Seriously though: the first time I saw Requiem, I was completely in shock... I guess the movie is so powerful and confronting because it blows the message right through your brains like a bullet...

mine was only from memory

in my highschool freshmen Enr Geometry our class had a competition to see who could memorize the most numbers in Pi, winner had like 42 or so, crazy
